I photographed this bird in the Botanical Gardens in Cairns in September last year - I have not been able to positively identify it - can anyone help?
It looks like a female sunbird to me, but I'm no expert on Queenslanders.

All different names of the same species ;) Definitely a female sunbird. Superb shot by the way, love how the colours interact.

Thanks, guys - much appreciated. The pictures I had seen of sunbirds suggested they have shorter bills.
