Hi guys,
I saw this bird feeding along the water's edge of Swan River, Perth.
Its look fits the description of a common greenshank I think, except for the color of its legs (not greenish). Any idea?
Thanks,
Chai

Difficult from those pictures, but maybe they are Terek Sandpipers (#1 & 2 look like they are) If the 3rd picture is a different bird (which it looks as if it is, but always difficult to tell)it could be a Marsh Sandpiper as it looks 'finer' than a Greenshank.

HI Chai
With that upturned beak and the buff shoulder my pick is the Terek Sandpiper ( + the orange legs)
Ok. I will try to get a better photo next time. Thanks for your replies anyway.

Pectoral Sandpiper?
Happy birdwatching!
