Feathers of what bird?

Can anybody tell me what birds those feathers belong to?

The 2nd feather looks a bit like a kookaburra's tail feather.

Hi Andy,I'm not sure? I thought the one I'm posting now is a kookaburra tail feather? (15cm long)
No1 is only 10cm, and No2 is 22cm.(where is Akos?I'm sure he would know!)
You can be right though!!! M-L

Yeah that last one definitely looks like a kookaburra tail feather. Maybe the 2nd photo is from the edge of the tail?

I am really not sure Marie-Louise. The second one could also be a Tawny Frogmouth going by size. About the same as a Kookaburra. Though Andy could be also right. I am really not a feather man. :-O

Thanks, that makes it 3 tawny frogmouth! Young Owen told me yesterday, he has a feather just like No2 ! He thinks No1 is from a Southern Boobook!? It is from an Owl I think, have a close look . It might be from the chest?

It really is hard to be confident about feather 1 M-L. Seeing as you have loads of owls around it is a possibility of Boobook or maybe another type of owl.

Cheers, Owen.
