Hello all you birdy folk!
I live in the Brisbane suburbs and am an absolute beginner with bird awareness. I regularly hear a bird that I am unable to identify. I mostly hear it all though the night, repetitively twittering away at a soft high pitch in small bursts. Seriously, it can go on and on and on. Sometimes I hear it by day also. One day I heard it and think I may have seen the culprit. It looked like a grey butcher bird but it was hidden high amongst many branches so it was hard to be sure. Does anyone have a clue?
Thanks in advance! :)
Willy Wagtails have a habit of calling all night, especially during this time of the year.
