Does anyone know what this is? It looks like a pink witchetty grub. I have never seen anything like it.

It's probably the larva of a butterfly, soakes, tho' which one I wouldn't have a clue. One to email to your state museum butterfly expert for i.d., I reckon. That's if an expert on this forum doesn't step in first with the answer.
