I've seen a female around lately, since we started leaving fruit out. I took this pic of a male today, assuming that it's a Satin Bowerbird.
Simpson & Day says the eye is blue. This bird definitely has a red eye (definitely not caused by flash!).
Am I missing something?

Hmm Sherro at 187kb it should have all fit but I have edited out the ones that didn't work.
I am wondering actually if it is a Koel? They have red eyes whereas Satin's have purple eyes.
