Hi,
Can anyone advise as to whether this bird is a Tawny Frogmouth or a Marbled Frogmouth.
Found: Wooloweyah, postcode 2464. Dec 8th 2011, roughly 3pm.
Was asleep on a branch being harassed by minors (poor thing)....

Looks like a Tawny Frogmouth. I cannot see any barring on the nasal feathers, which is a distinguishing feature of the Marbled Frogmouth. Nice pic BTW. :-)
