A few ids needed please!

I have a few more photos that I would like help with. They were taken at Alice Springs Desert Park.

Now I'm crossing my fingers that these pics will post properly! Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

They seem to cut off a bit on the right (the photos)~can anyone tell me why that is?

and you need to redue the size of your pictures that's why they have been cut off - no bigger than 640x427 ish

Number 1 is a really good photo! I assume that is an emu egg? Well captured, Myky is spot on with the ID's as usual :)

Thanks guys! The buzzard photo is from a live show they do at the desert park. They showed us how the buzzard will use a tool to break open the egg, in this case a rock. It was incredibly fascinating. Some of the areas are closed off but the majority of the walking paths are open so you also have the chance to see some of the local birds that drop in to say hi. These photos are all birds that were either part of the show or were in enclosed areas. I enjoyed the park very much as it also showcased the local flora and was very informative.

Now that I have the hang of posting the pictures straight onto the site I will dip back into my albums and try to post some pics of my local backyard birds here in NC. Thanks again for the help~my scrapbook is almost complete:)
