Immortal seagulls (silver gulls )

When I visit my favourite beach there are the flock of gulls.  Always about the same number and all alike. I have never seen a young chick. I have never seen an old decrepid one. I have never seen a dead one. Conclusion :- they are immortal

I have seen many young. Just go to Phillip Island during the breeding season. I have many photos on the nest.Will post some if I can find them?

We go to the island quite often ML and still have never seen a young gull.

I always see them too, though when I was younger (about 12) I used to think they were a different species LOL

At the Visitor Centre, on the hill where the board walk is. Hundreds of nesting sites during the breeding season.
