There were numerous Jacky Winters on a brief drive through the Capertee Valley a couple of days ago. Now I have them from every perspective. Difficult to choose my favourite.

You would be forgiven for not being able to choose, all of them are great. Unfortunately, they are very few in our area now...

Aiming for DSLR-quality shots with a bridge camera
First one and second last Sue. Nice shots.
Rob.
Your new camera is doing you proud Sue. Quality shots all of them. Have you cropped these or are they straight out of the camera?
Samford Valley Qld.
Yes, I agree; first and last are my favouties. These pictures are cropped as I could not get any closer before they moved to a new place on the wire so I am very pleased. There 4 on this little piece of fencing. As to the camera gear, it is proving to be quite a light setup which is better for me these days.

Great pics, Sue. Most of my pics have them on wire, i guess it is a vantage point for them.

Just found these pictures from East Point in Darwin. The bird almost flew into the lens checking me out. I had labelled it a Grey Whistler and they seem to confirm all that has been said. Sue
