This is a slight colour mutation and I have seen quite a few photos of this in Kings. It is partly leucistic and the wings is usually the place where the odd feathers are.
Thanks Owen. It will be interesting to see him as he matures. We love "our" Kings. We had a group of 8 visit today, but usually singly or in pairs. A few will sit on our arms to feed. Terry
I had King Parrots with that colouring around my place. I noticed them last year, there was a family of 4 that looked like that, a little less yellow. The next lot of young had even more yellow spots on the wings. What was interesting though, they seamed to be stronger looking and definitely more aggressive towards the other King Parrots. They have disappeared, I haven't noticed any of them this season.
sorry but I can not help
Peter
