It's nippy for SA. Occasional snow on Mt Lofty in the Mt Lofty Ranges & Mt Remarkable in the Flinders Ranges. I recall when I was knee high to a grasshopper my father telling me about snow on Christmas Day at Hallett where he farmed in SA's Mid North.
That coot shot really speaks to me, Rick. They're a common bird but I don't commonly see that many of them congregating like that. usually they're too busy chasing each other around and generally being lunatics.
Love the eye contact, how evenly spread they are in the frame, and the panorama crop and the depth of field are spot on.
