Nice photos - i like those shots of the Australian Shelduck which i have not seen Great shot of the little egret in flight with those plumes trailing from the head.

Great spot for bird photography as birds are used to seeing people about the lake and tend to be less skitish. I saw my first Australian Shelduck, Splendid Fairy Wren and a few others in Perth this year including photographing an adult Nankeen Heron in full breeding plumage who allowed me to within 6 metres.

It is a great spot and is only a part of the larger lake eco system in the area.
