Dray - Is the name used for the nest or just sleeping in overnight for the Ringtailed possum . They usually have a few close by.
When I hosted a radio program a number of years ago, it was a very commonly asked question. Eg.(there is a large nest in our garden but they have never seen a bird use it). If you're lucky to have a ringtailed possum in your garden the first sign is lots of green leaves or sheoak needles on the ground . They love lillypilly or a thickets vines, any thick bush to build a dray.
Babblers build large spherical domed nests with a side entrance, but my guess for that one is Ring-tailed Possum?
Steve.
I am with you Steve

I think thought should be drey, & being nocturnal, I think you mean sleep in during the day. Sorry!![cheeky cheeky](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tounge_smile.gif)
BTW, Babblers also build nests just for sleeping in overnight. I believe it's called a dormitory nest, because the whole family group all pile in.

Thanks for the comments and help. I never knew possums made such nests.
