Lewins, feeding and nest

We have a Lewins Honeyeater nesting about 1.5m from where I have breakfast every morning, so I check on the little birds each morning, they have grown fast.

We decided to give it a small piece of peach of our tree, as it seems busy feeding it's two babies, we thought we'd give it a treat.  You can see it's long tongue out here

Not sure if this is the mum or dad or boith doing all the work ?  It's sitting on the verandah railing in the pic, having a rest

and the eggs in the nest about 2 weeks ago.

I have been taking regluar video of the babies being fed and developing.  If anyone is interested I can put up a video of the entire process when they're finished ?

Sounds good ... and can you post a couple of photos of the babies here?

That is lovely to be able to observe them nesting in the garden and watch them grow successfully. Yes, I would love to see a video of their development :)

Charming company at breakfast .... bet it enjoyed the peach slice too. Great photos, thanks for sharing.

You've got some great shots there...and "Aw" those eggs are so cute! Can't wait to see photos or a video of them after they have hatched.
