Went for a quick whip around Daisy Hill this afternoon, and finally managed some decent pictures of a White-Throated Treecreeper - Been chasing these guys for a while without much pictorial success. And some bonuses. (female Variegated Fairywren with grub, and then looking a bit sassy, and a Eastern Yellow Robin)
and it is a female White-throated Treecreeper - the orange spot below the eye

Great pics ... Like your bonus pics of the wren and robin too
Thanks guys. :)
Yes Peter - I had thought I said it in the original post, but must have forgotten.
Those Treecreepers have been taunting you for a while hey windshear - good work snagging one! Love the second shot with him peeking up & from behind the tree - gee they have a lovely scalloped pattern on their underbelly, hope I see one of these one day! And, my goodness, look at the length of the Wrens tail, what a sweetie - as too is the Robin, can't forget the Robin. I'd be rapt to see these three on one walk - fantastic!!

Thanks Annie - yes, they're very sweet little birds, but can be a little irritating at times - they don't really land on anything horizontal, instead they land on the sides of trees, and kind of run up and around the tree trunk, and have a habit of inconveniently running around the opposite side of the tree from where you are. This one actually sat still for me for reasonable periods, which was just lovely of her.
