We recently got a bird feeder to attract more birds into our backyard. So far we've been able to identify most of them, except this little guy... Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Looks like a House Sparrow to me. (judging by the little black patch on his chest, he is in breeding colours)

Hi Kalyn. Just wondering if you've thought of planting indigenous native plants to attract birds to your backyard. There's lots of information about this issue on this site. Put <artificial feeding> in the Search box near the top of this page.
Something interesting about House Sparrow males...
The size of the black bib of the males depends on the rank or superiority of each individual. So, although these are introduced birds, it is interesting to observe these birds with this in mind.
