So - due to work and family commitments, I hadn't been doing much this week, and after an incredibly draining day at work yesterday (I had planned to take off wetlands-ward after work, but that turned into working overtime) - I was heading past the park near my house, when I spotted some action at the Little Corella nest.
There were two proud parents sitting on a branch overlooking the nest, where I could just see two little faces peeking out. They were still a bit shy, and the nest is quite some way up in the tree, so all I got was a little look.
And then while I was watching them, a group of SFWs turned up and demanded my attention.
Naww, look at their little faces peeking out! How cute is that! Looks like a nice old well-used hollow that one. Gotta love the SFW's - I'm handsome, so beak in the air and talk to the tail he was saying I think and pretty Mrs Wren sang for you too! Love it! Great stuff windshear

Great stuff Windshear , love that last photo of female wren on top of the fence
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Annie - Yes, last year there was a pair of Sulphur Crested Cockatoos nesting in that particular hollow, and the tree it is in has lots of little hollows - believe there are rainbow and scaly-breasted lorikeets, blue-faced honeyeaters and possibly galahs who have used the same tree this year. I agree, the SFW boys are such show offs, But that's why we love em.
I personally love the through-the-fence pics.
Lovely shots ..... Those corellas are just peeking out at the big world beyond their tree. Wrens seem to love those wire fences I often see them perched mid fence.
