Spotted this pair of birds today in Kalbarri in WA. I think that both are Little Eagles but not sure if the paler one is the pale morph or a juvenile. Have no books with me just the apps so would appreciate some help with the ID please.

Very nice photos Sue - nice work getting both pale and dark little eagles in one day. Referring to Birds of Prey field guide I would say the first one is the adult pale morph, as the juvenile of either morph would have more rufuos underparts. Of the adult pale morph it says ' underparts sandy or pale rufuos,whiter on belly with ... dark streaked breast' .
Thanks WD, this is my first definitive sighting. The pale one flew over but came back with the second so I madly waved my hat to get their attention. I really must pack a book for our travels. Tern IDs are also giving me trouble!
