Little Grassbird? Bassian Thrush?

Little Grassbird? Bassian Thrush? Any ideas? It's hard to see in these pics but they are often in groups of around a dozen, they are quite small, smaller I think than the Bassian Thrush. They have quite long legs and run away more than fly away when approached.

I will suggest Australian Pipit

I put pics in Best Photos earlier this week - http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/forum/Australian-Pipit

Before the pic 's were down loaded on my screen, my head was racing you said the key words.
Dozen or so birds, prefer to run then fly I had made my up mind.
They also like to bob or wag their tails up and down.

See it!  Hear it!

Hi this bird appears to be in the open whereas whenever I have seen a Bassian Thrush it has been in a forest well hidden in the undergrowth.  The Bassian thrush is slightly bigger than this bird and the markings and colours are quite impressive if you can get a good look at it.  I usually hear it scrapping in the leaf litter before I see it.  I agree with Pacman that it is an Australian Pippit.
