Little falcon/Australian hobby

Today I saw some blue sky for the first time in months so I rushed out to see if I could find some BOP. I did but they were all a long way away. So sorry about the quality, I had to crop heavily so I could see what was in the photos. These were the most interesting ones, of a Little falcon catching dragonflies. It moved over a huge open grassland at incredible speed. It seems to be eating while flying

Wow Kim, amazing photos (never seen anything else but amazing photos from you).

The dragonfly looks gigantic(?), but the little falcon isn't a big BOP

Just great , thanks Kim

Great stuff Kim, must be amazing to be able to get in close and see that kind of detail. Well done !

Fantastic pics!  I often have to crop to get the details to show, and to help focus on the subject.  It means taking huge pics to start with so you have plenty to work with without losing the details.  Good work.  You've even captured the insect well.

Great shots. Your bop shots are always a pleasure to look at, you capture them so well. Love the 2nd and 3rd shots.
