August last year there was a pair of magpie larks who raised three chicks in this same tree and the exact same spot as this dad who is currently sitting on eggs. First picture from today, second from last year (both times I happen to photographed dad

Its a knockdown-rebuild, as last years cylindrical design has been replaced by a cup-shaped abode.
The cup shaped nest reminds me of larger scale willie wagtail nest. The magpie lark nests i have seen have been the big mud cylinders like the second photo.
