Making a Killing.

How the cheating is actually done is so extreme it defies belief. What some trainers are prepared to do, to give their dogs the winning edge, will shock even the most hardened viewer.

The more that read about this the better..Kittens, rabbits, possums and even piglets are tied to lures and flung violently around training tracks.

Before being used as live bait, one mother possum watched on helplessly as her baby was killed in front of her.

Tell your State MP to ensure your tax dollars are no longer funnelled into greyhound racing, and to take urgent action to end the cruelty of greyhound racing.

Boy/girl, has this issue got the populace stirred up. And rightly so. The pathological behaviour of those involved is truly horrendous. Keeping this industry going would seem to be a licence for further senseless cruelty. If only as much anger & distress were directed at natural habitat destruction where so many animals are affected.

Can it be considered cheating if it's common practice?

time-honoured 'conduct'

thousands of dogs are put down annually

greyhounds are generally a very peaceful breed and it usually takes a lot of abuse to get them to bite

they are often seen with muzzles in public, perhaps a reputation gained from a distrust of humans

consign this anachronism to the vaults of history, i opine.

It's disgusting what has been revealed and makes my blood boil.

Quote,"When greyhound racing insiders are now admitting that 'live baiting' is rife throughout the industry ... when those exposed include the President of a racing club, ex-stewards, a two-time Australian Trainer of the Year and even a former 'Integrity Manager' — it's clear that there is something seriously rotten at the heart of greyhound racing.

There is no way that this industry can legitimately continue to operate."
