At Maroubra Beach Sydney on Sunday was able to get some close up shots of crested and common terns that happily shared the beach with humans.

I got down to kneeling and the natural slope of the beach helped. I didnt risk lying down in case I needed to do the distress wave for assistance from the life savers to get back up
