Maroubra Beach Terns

At Maroubra Beach Sydney on Sunday was able to get some close up shots of crested and common terns that happily shared the beach with humans.

Wow! Well done, good detail in the whites.

You are really starting to get into your photography WD! Did you get down to the birds level or were they in a spot a bit higher than you?

Thanks Rick and Reflex .... co-operative subjects make all the difference for me.

I got down to kneeling and the natural slope of the beach helped. I didnt risk lying down in case I needed to do the distress wave for assistance from the life savers to get back up laugh!

Fabulous stuff WD, exquisite detail - you have been busy with a bevy of beauties!  I had to smile at that last one, must have been a good joke between friends there laugh  I'd love to come across some Terns that played as nicely, lucky you, and thanks so much for sharing!
