Spent a couple of days working in Meningie recently so had a couple of nice early mornings by Lake Albert. Loads of birdlife around and a very serene setting.
Great pics as usual Rick. Must admit I had to Google "Meningie" but it looks like an idyllic spot..."Meningie is a town on the south-east side of Lake Albert in South Australia. It is on the Princes Highway near The Coorong and was surveyed in 1866. At the 2006 census, Meningie had a population of 940.
This is near the land you have purchased if I'm not mistaken?
How are you coping with the heat down there? I saw predictions of 44C in Adelaide for to-day!!!
Wow, lovely shots! What are the terns?

Thanks John. Yes, new place is about 20ks South of Meningie.
Damn hot here all week, cool change can't get here early enough.
Gorgeous photos! I love the shot of the Pelican just barely landing on the water.
P.S. It's pretty hot in Victoria as well (41C) although not as hot as South Australia. I hope there won't be any more boiling days like these.
