Nice video of a lovely little bird, a friend of mine runs an apple juicing plant, we get apple pulp for the horses, and the Silver Eyes often come in for a feed, but a little wary to get photos. Thanks

I have an apple orchard, all the birds seem to love them. This week we have had a flock of red wattlebirds and very noisy currawongs. Our silvereyes like the little crabapple fruits. The birds know which fruit is the sweetest, they always take the tastiest apples first

At least silvereyes like to eat aphids as well.

Dale, thanks, yes very hard to photograph that's what made this capture so great. I had been watching the apple expecting the rainbows to take it out and had not noticed these tiny visitors!! Would never try this with my super limited still set up. ad

M-L these fish eye things are being done with a Contour Roam (the old version one). I'm editing a two camera thing at the moment and there will be a few frames showing the setup from the normal camera. Hope to upload it in the next day or two so keep an eye out. ad

GregL, funny our birds seem to like the fuit half ripe...it all gets eaten before it's anything like I would eat. And yes the Silvereyes keep the pests down so I guess in our case it's a fair trade off. ad
