Mt Glorious

Well as you may have read in a prior post Reflex & I headed up to Mt Glorious early this morning.

As he said there were just birds everywhere but not many would stay still long enough for us to photograph them.

Here are a few I got.

Unfortunately the rifle birds were in a very hard spot with very low light and my Tamron 150mm-600mm doesn't like low light sad

Other birds I saw or heard but could not get a decent shot include:

Green Catbird, Golden Whistler, King Parrots, Crimson Rosellas, Scarley Honeyeaters, Brown honeyeaters, Rose-Crowned Fruit Dove, Emerald Dove, White Browed Scrub Wens, Satin Bower Birds, Noisy Pittas and heaps more!

Good stuff! The Riflebird came out well and I am so jealous of that Regent Bowerbird.

You didn't mention the Lewin's Honeyeater that kept scaring the other birds away.

I did get a couple of the Catbirds but very grainy after increasing the exposure in Lightroom.

I'm very jealous of your Catbird shots as mine were dark and grainy also.

Nice shot of the Lewins & the Catbird is doing a nice pose.

Nice photos devster - the riflebird shots are great, very dramatic display.

Beautiful Eastern Yellow Robins photos.

I also have the Tamron 150-600 lens - had it for about 6 weeks and overall I am very pleased with it.
