My first sighting of a most interesting duck from about a month ago at Cleve SA.
They sit very low in the water with just the top of there back showing.

That is a amazing tail on an amazing duck.
Was going to ask you Rick if you got to hear the call of the male musk duck ( very distinctive), but by the look of the display he is giving I think you just might have
. Lovely birds , I have only ever seen one ALMOST all the way out of water. I dont think it is a common practice for it to venture out of the water or even fly . I am glad you got to photograph one , thanks for sharing.
