Both Frank and Janet turned up a few times lately. No, I'm not feeding them, they come free willed and feed on the long grasses infront of my house.
No, I don't bother them by taking photos, they are not worried by my presence. I never have and never will infringe on any bird. (sorry, but I wanted to make this clear, as I was told by someone, I should not take photos of my wrens or any other birds in my garden. I was deeply hurt by that, but it also made a very careful and person like me, even more aware )
Both King Parrots and one Crimson Rosella are always together, they have been comming for years now.
Here is the female King Parrot, we call Janet
It must be lovely to have them come and visit you!
I love your photos, you always get the reflection in the eyes just perfect!
My guess would be the person who told you not to take photos of the birds in your yard is probably jealous of your photographic ability!
Plain and simple. Oh, Janet is a beauty!
Stunning photo's yet again M-L.. Totally agree with sacrednavel, they are just green with envy. If the birds were bothered by you why would they be returning year after year to pose for you then
Yep, you can see the fear in her eye
Great pics as always

Thanks guys, she does look a bit sad , my husband just got the mover out, so there won't be any long grass out the front. Don't worry, there'll be plenty on the other side of the house. We always do it alternately. The birds know that
