Hi, While gardening, at Mannering Park, on the NSW central coast, we had an onlooker, a Nankeen Night Heron. We had to look up our bird, in the Slater's book, as we did not know what it was.

Hi, The Night Heron was actually at my weekender, on the Central Coast, and the bird just sat in the tree and watched us gardening for about an hour, and was still in the area for another 4 hours. There are plenty of birds in the area, but none like the Night Heron, it certainly surprised us. I took about a dozen photos hoping one would be good.
