Wow great shots! How you manage to find so much cool birds at their nests is beyond me (or maybe I just need to go to Campbell Park :) )

Thanks for the comments.

Ryu, i don't find them all, i get shown some off them. The Flycatcher is at Pine Island as reported on the chatline but yes Campbell Park is the place to go :)

Nice to see birds breeding around our national capital.

For the benefit of new posters, not to mention the benefit of the birds, please ensure nesting photos are taken at very long range so as to avoid disturbance & subsequent abandonment of nests by some species.

Very nice set of images Shorty.

Good fieldcraft goes a long way to being able to get shots like these.

Thanks all for the nice comments.

Woko, yes i should have mentioned that in my first post. Different birds react differently and learning how the bird reacts is very important. I closely watch them while i take shots and if i notice any stress i back off straight away. The Gerygone's did not care about my presents at all, the Western was doing nest repair/tidy up the whole time and this was the only shot i got that it even gave me a glance.
