I managed to get some photos of new species and some of old ones I have already. I also went on the Pelagic with John but my photos are nowhere near as good as his so I didn't bother posting any. I did manage to get a new bird, the Sooty Tern out on the Pelagic though.
Firsts were Owlet-Nightjar. I didn't realise how small these guys actually were. They are very cute. Another new one was the Painted Button-Quail. This lady was not shy at all but very hard to photograph due to the very low light and her constant moving. She was busy scounging for food.
The Grebe was being very cute so I couldn't help myself.
Their ar around 50 Whistling ducks in the surrounding dams near our place. This one was just in the nice light so I couldn't help myself.

Great set of shots Devster, all four would be firsts for me.
Thanks for the comments guys. Both the Night-Jar and the Button quail are in a local patch. There is also 2 Noisy Pittas there as well but I didn't see them that day.
Might go back on the weekend and see if I can get some better shots.
