Decided to grab the camera and go to a local spot early this morning, Gold Scrub Lane at Samsonvale and was quite pleased with what I found. I saw what I first thought was a Lorikeet in the distance but eventually I spotted what turned out to be a male Rose-Crowned Fruit-Dove. I still can't believe how well they blend into the foilage for such a gorgeous bird..
