Northern Inlet walk

A few pixs from today hike  on the northern-eastern  part of the Inlet.

Im guessing that its a  pardalote in the  first two photos (??)

Plus some other more regular inlet residents

Thanks Elizabeth

Yes its a white faced Heron and like the Egrets and Ibis, not too mention a few ducks as well.

They seem to liked jumping on tree branches in this area.

It always draws me to take a photo :)

Nice variety. The bird in the first 2 pics is a Yellow-rumped Thornbill

A great set of photographs. Shooting into the sun in that last shot has created a great photograph. As for the White Faced Heron, I have seen them perched in some strange places even over busy freeways..crazy birds.

Lovely variety of photos. I agree with Reflex that last photo has a certain appeal to it even though it's usually not ideal to shoot into the sun.
