I was lucky enough to get this photo of an Osprey in flight at South Ballina last week
Noble birds, thanks for sharing!
Nice! If you could've caught a bit of light on its face it would've been a ripper! You can post larger sized images so we can enjoy better. Mine are around 1,000 pixels wide or 800 pixels high (if vertical orientation).
Cheers
thanks
image sizes - I am on mobile connection duirng the week so I am careful with photos sizes
I found this other Osprey in flight photo today when sorting the photos from my 18 Feb morning trip to Bribie Island, north of Brisbane

Not that easy to get lots of detail of birds in flight. I have never been able to get as good as these.
Karen Brisbane southside.
Love your shots. I'd love to see an osprey - on my list of birds to see
Looks like he's watching you! I hope to see one of these one day. The Osprey fact sheet you attached to your images lists them as 'vulnerable'.
thanks for your comment
that photo is now my pc desktop background
the sheet is 'related factsheet' from this site that you can select when adding a comment
