I don't think there is such species as a "Pacific Tern", my field guide and search results suggest they do not exist, do you mean the subspecies of the White Tern (Gygis alba) 'Pacific White Tern'? Otherwise I think your tern is actually a Breeding Caspian Tern (Hydroprogne caspia)
No not an Antarctic Tern, they have don't have black under wings like your bird, Antarctic Terns have grey to white wings with do black wing tip, the bill is also to small, and the tail is too long, so I think Caspian Tern.

Possibly an Antarctic Tern...?
I would say definitely looking at this pic...

http://www.arkive.org/antarctic-tern/sterna-vittata/ - here is a link to some Antarctic Tern pics, you will see the difference
http://birdlife.org.au/bird-profile/caspian-tern - and check this link for the Caspian Tern you will see all the points I've made, there is a flight photo that looks just about identical

Good BIF shots. I'd go with Caspian Tern with the black legs and big red bill. Antarctic Terns have more of a hat than a cap and they have red legs.

I don't have a clue about seabirds but stunning shots!

Thanks Ryu...I think we decided on Caspian Tern...LOL
what locations for the birds?

Gorgeous photos, I dare not even attempt bird-in-flight shots :)
lovely bird, shame it isn't a pacific tern because we could suggest the pacific tern was making a specific turn.. :)
Happy Birding!

I agree with others about it being a Caspien Tern
Great photos! I like the second one the best. Good eye contact, lighting and detail.
Lol Wollemi, that made me laugh as that is something I would say.
If you were going to do birds in flight then Terns and Seagulls are a goos way to start.
A little bit easier than say a Brown Thornbill.
