We have a resident Pardalote that visits us on the veranda, such a privilege to have them with us. They nest in a hole in the vegetable garden timber surrounds and have bred successfully for about three years here.

How good is that. Do the young come to the veranda? If so, don't forget to take some photos of them. I have photos of adults, they have been nesting on our property, but I have never seen any young. It would be awsome to show them to everyone. Thanks Dianna.

We don't get these here at all (Selby, Vic). I saw two for the first time earlier this year at Lysterfield Lake. Pretty birds. You are very lucky indieed.

Hi Araminta, Unfortunately no, haven't had the young visit but often have a pair of them at once, they are becoming quite cheeky and venturing further all the time, as you can see in the pic below, I just love them. I feel so privileged to live in a place with so many birds, very lucky indeed.
