Very lucky today to stumble across this beautiful killer of the skies down at Dunsborough West Australia .
She was very annoyed so im guessing I had stumbled into her nesting territory.
So grabbed a couple of quick shots and then beat the retreat.
Will return later in the summer and hopefully catch another glimpse of this elusive bird
She's absolutely stunning laza!! Beautiful shots and lucky you! She's sure is giving you that cranky BoP look in that first one, hahaha. Excellent!

They are amazing aren't they? I was lucky to get one at Kings Park awhile ago. And yes there is no hiding for a Peregrine Falcon they see everything from miles around . Lovely capture Laza.

Well returned three weeks later to where I had encountered Mrs P in cranky mode.
Did a bit of search and was literally about to head back to the trail when I looked up and saw what all the fuss had been about 3 weeks earlier, what a adorable little killer of the skies
If you look carefully you can see remains of junior's meal just below him. Mum was actually about not too far away and fairly relaxed but I didnt want to disturb them too much so I didnt get closer to her for a better shot
Hope you enjoy
Dont take life too seriously, it never ends well
Very glad you went back for another look , seriously beautiful laza!

Awww, what a ferocious lookin' cutie! :)
How great is that, Laza If you go there often you will find they will let you get quite close after a while. My local BS Kite lets me get very close these days.
