Pink or Rose Robin??

Not one of my better photos, sorry. But of importance to me. One more Robin in my garden. I think it is a Pink Robin, what does everyone else think? Let me know please.

I think the Pink Robin has a dark, almost black, brown on it's back and head, and the Rose Robin has a slightly lighter colour. Also, the pink chest feathers look a bit darker then a Pink Robin,so that would lead it to be a Rose Robin.

We don't have Pink Robins up here in northern NSW, I've never seen one, so can only go on my books. I'm not sure, but leaning slightly towards Rose Robin. Have you got any photos that show the tail better, preferably spread or undertail? Where was it at?

Going on what I'm viewing in Morcombe, the grey top makes it a rose robin & the magenta-pink underside extending a fair way back makes it a pink robin.  The very small white mark (instead of a spot) on the forehead perhaps makes it a juvenile?

Thanks guys, I'm none the wisercrying, I did think "juvenile", more Pink Robin, because the white marking above the beak looks smaller. The problem (?) is I have so many different kinds of Robins, I get a bit confused. So, we are not certain at this stage? The verdict at this stage is: 2 Pink, 1 Rose ?

M-L, you never answered my question!  Have you got any more photos of the Robin, in particular the undertail or with tail spread?

Cheers, Steve

Sorry Steve, I had a look, I only have 5 photos, but none shows the tail better. Unfortunately I only saw the bird a few times, but not lately. It must have moved oncrying
