This grey bird came to collect crumbs from our Paluma Dam (NQ) picnic table. It doesn't look like anything in my book. Sorry I didn't get a photo of the front of the bird.

Hi Bruce, can't tell you what kind of bird it is, but what I would like to tell you, and I hope you are not going to be offended by it, Please don't feed birds bread. It's not part of their natural diet and does them great harm .

No offence taken, this one was actually cleaning up the picnic area, it wasn't deliberately being fed!

Very wise, Adele. The bird looks like a grey shrike-thrush to me, too. It might be a juvenile due to the lack of brown colouring on its back.
