Powerful Owl

The Owl is still at the Turner bowls club in Canberra so went and got some more pics, he even had a snack of his Suger Glider while i was there.

He has been there for nearly 3 weeks now but i am surprised he has picked this spot as there is constant traffic going under him as the tree is on the driveway to the parking area.

Beautiful pics rawshorty!

I hadn't heard of this sighting - I know they are not a common occurance in Canberra. Its amazing what they tolerate - the Centennial Park and Botanic Gardens birds are not phased by much at all.

I got to see my first fledgling in the flesh a couple of weeks ago - they are even more gorgeous than photos show!
