Best I could do . He was foraging in the undegrowth way off the track so I was all zoomed out Including digital . Wasn't going to try and get any closer , already had seen a snke slithering under the leaves.

Yes, it is definitely coming into snake season - I disturbed 4 or 5 on the weekend. (the ones I saw were little grass snakes)
