Spied this lovely lady in a paddock far far away early yesterday evening, only just missed her mate as he flew away . Silly wind was nearly blowing my head off so really stuggled to hold my camera steady as a result, but here are a few of my favourites.
Swamp Harrier - Female (or even possibly a juv as they're almost as "chocolatey" as the ladies)

Thanks for your lovely comments everyone. Diane, I marvel at your captures of the littlies in flight - I'm still on a steep learning curve trying to catch bigger birds , will keep practicing practicing! Kevin, I know what you mean. I have seen quite a few lately for a change, but always on the other side of the highway, or off in the distance. Great to see them at all, but would be nice to have a go at catching a few more to keep, so to speak .

Very good images. I am on my phone so cannot see enough detail. If the eyes are dark it would be a juvie. If yellow them female. Well done.
Thanks Kevin, fingers crossed for your Kites, would love to see them! Thanks Canonguy - she's a lady Swampie then for sure .
