Seen at the water bird refugee Sydney Olympic Park.
I think i have a good idea what this is ... but i will ask to make sure. I only got views of it from behind flying away from me, and then a couple of tantalizing partial glimpses above a line of trees.
Certainly no expert, leaning towards Eastern Osprey, the dark eyeline I think rules out a lot of other raptors including White Bellied Sea Eagle. Having a shot, and happy to stand corrected.

There are White bellied sea eagles at sydney olympic park. they have eagle cam set up near the nest
Started bird watching because my 5 year old loves birds. I now enjoy bird watching very much
