Looks like a great weekend Shorty, very envious. Lovely photos.
You are becoming a master at this Shorty . Excellent stuff.
Kerry - Perth, Western Australia.
Thanks, Rick. We are lucky here in Canberra to have so many species, most easy to find.
Thanks, Shoop. Not sure about becoming a master It's just a matter of finding reliable spots.
The Black Kite was a bonus for me as we don't get many sightings here and very rare to see one at this time of year apparently.
When i got out of my car at my Wedgie spot he started to fly around me before going to a tree, so i went to get some perch shots when i noticed a nest near him/her. I went back to the car and left it alone just in case. I will keep an eye on the nest from a distance to see if it is his/hers.

Wonderful photos ... the portrait of the B Kite is fantastic (as are the others too).
Really appreciate you sharing your photos here so that I can see these amazing birds too.
Great photos Shorty! You are one lucky ducky!
Thanks, WD. I am glad you like them. Always happy to show my pics that i have so much enjoyment in taking.
Thanks, Windshear. Yep can't argue about the lucky, but i do spend a lot of time looking. It's a shame work gets in the way so much
