For anyone wanting to learn more about our raptors, Dr Stephen Debus will be presenting an exceptional workshop over the 25th and 26th July in Sydney.

Saturday will be a classroom session and Sunday a field trip.
In my opinion, Steve is the most knowledgeable field researcher of our predatory birds with many excellent papers and books to his name. If you want to learn, this is your chance.
Sounds awesome, pity it's in Sydney
Do you know if he is running any in Qld, Brisbane in particular?
Thanks for letting us know Canonguy
Hi mate
You can check with your local Birdlife people.
One thing I do recommend is Steve's compact Raptor field guide from the CSIRO. It's about $40.00 from memory and has very useful information on ID etc of our raptors.

An excellent book.
Thanks Canonguy, I'll have to check it out.
Hope you have a great weekend
I don't often post images here, but I'll post a couple of my weekend.
How is your hide going Devster?
Still deciding which approach I want to take with the hide. In other words procrastinating!
I still haven't built mine. LOL
Just received my copy to-day from booktopia.
