Hi everyone, greetings from the Adelaide Hills.
Over the past few weeks I've had a Little Raven visiting my garden every day. I know most of my regular birds but this one is new. What's interesting about it is that it has a very pale blue right eye, exactly like a Little Raven (which is what it is) and a bright yellow left eye, exactly like a Currawong (which it definitely isn't). It's weird. Has anyone else seen a Raven with such different coloured eyes?

None where I live on the eastern side of the Adelaide Hills, arkle.
I finally managed to get a half-decent photo of my local Raven with the different coloured eyes. This is in the Adelaide Hills.
The left eye is a deep yellow exactly like that of a Currawong; the right eye is the typical pale blue of a Raven.
I don't think I've ever seen any bird with different coloured eyes. It also seems coincidental that Ravens and Currawongs are so similar in size and plumage. Could this be a hybrid of some kind, or just a random mutation? The yellow is so Currawongesque.
