A rare visitor to my area so I was super excited to see one whilst at long reef on Mother's day. In the background you can see my family. This parrot was extremely confident and allowed for great photos, later on I will post an image with a more natural background

I love seeing the flash of blue, green and red when Red Rumped Parrots fly past. They are common in my area if you go to the right area. Good photo.

There is a flock of 15 or so that are often in the parks on either side of the silverwater bridge over the parramatta river.
