Fannnntastic sparrow! And my favourite little Plover. I only got my first, and only, crack at getting a shot of one last year - just a pair though. Funny, I'd always expected them to be bigger in real life - must read the fine print a little better in the Field Guide. Wow, 200!! How cool is that! Did they make much noise as a flock? Mass RC Plover envy now

200 is a conservative estimant , just a whoosh as they took off , their so tiny ! I only saw them when a flock of WF chats I spooked flew over them and a few flapped their wings, even at less than 10m they were hard to spot until they moved.
