Hi there,
I know these guys are Calyptorhynchus banksii, but can anyone confirm if they are the West Australian subspecies Calyptorhynchus banksii naso? I know it has something to do with their beaks and location. I live in the Perth Hills.
Thank you
I had a nosey in the new The Australian Bird Guide & it does say the six subspecies differ in "size, shape of bill, purity of coloured tail panels and degree of yellow spotting in [adult]". But this guide only mentions subspecies nano, not banksii nano.
